“Displacement” Function Block
Calculates the displacements of a measuring point with respect to the reference measurement.
Application example: monitoring structures.

Phi | Azimut, that is the longitudinal axis angle of the structure being monitored with respect to the north direction of the coordinate system in which measurements were made. With this angle, the displacement vector can be split into parts parallel to the axes (longitudinal and lateral) and thus output. Optional validation of input data
If a parameter in the "Maximum allowed differences to the reference point" is greater than 0, the input values are validated against the given reference point.
For this purpose, the displacements of the measuring point and the displacements of the reference point are calculated in each case. Then the absolute differences are determined and compared with the limit values in the parameters.
If the difference is too large, the input values are discarded as invalid and the output values are assigned the error code 3050.
This allows false measurements to be identified and false alerts due to incorrectly measured points can be avoided.
